Research in Information Science
Description: This in-person presentation covered my research and conclusions relating to Maggie L. Walker and African American woman suffrage.
Analysis: Presented after last-minute changes resulted in a location with no options to support laptop or other visuals, this presentation serves dual purposes; it not only shows how I extensively research and locate results under given deadlines, but also my ability to focus and keep going under stress and pressure. For example, at the 20 minute mark when tourists enter unexpectedly and I am able to greet them and then go back to the presentation.
Reflection: This extensive video shows that independently I am able to view materials at different sites, disseminate information, and present it to others. The confidence to present is there, and the drive to complete research is as well.
