 is an assignment that exemplifies one of the six core competencies required to graduate from the University of South Carolina's School of Library and Information Science: information and its organization, provision of information services, leadership and management, research, technology, and lifelong learning and professional development. 

 

 The selected assignments were chosen to equally represent proficiency and interests within my two areas of specialization: academic libraries and archives. Additional efforts were made to select assignments of various formats, including audio, visual, essays, critiques, and reflections.
